Hello folks! I hope you’re all having a good Summer. GLOW choir (a Natural Voice choir for LGBTQ+ people and for Allies) is starting again soon in September, and I’d love to see any of you there to share a sing!
Exciting GLOW Choir song menu preparation is currently afoot!
The new term’s song menu may include: Sunshine Fire & Rain (Helen Yeomans), Give Me Wings (Ali Burns), All Beings Equal (new song by me), Round & Round the Earth is Turning (anon), Yo Nana (Chrys Blanchard), Bring Out Your Voices (Nickomo), Why Not Go Forward Singing (Rowena Whitehead), A Blessing (Judith Silver), Winter Calls a Clear Horizon (Jan Harmon), Hej Sokoły (Polish song, accompanied on the accordion!), Njengebhadi libhadula (South African choral setting of Psalm 42 in Xhosa language), other shorties, surprises.
Wordsheets and sound files are stacking up in readiness, and I’m soooo looking forward to singing it all into reality with you folks very soon!
