Trans Voice Coaching & Alteration

I’m thrilled to be offering gender affirming voice coaching and trans voice alteration. I’ve been studying in various ways this area of practice that I am passionate about, and have recently finished a brilliant teacher training course with the wonderful Renée Yoxon.

I would love to help you with your voice wishes and goals, develop a voice practice in ways that work for you, and align your voice use with your sense of self. I look forward to working with you! I work both online and in person, with significantly more availability online.

testimonials

Thank you for the testimonial above which reads: “Hannah-Rose has helped me so much, and it all happened so quickly. I felt listened to, and felt the sessions were tailored to me.

Previous attempts at voice coaching has sometimes felt like being told what my voice ‘should’ be, but with Hannah-Rose I’ve been able to find my voice, that is personal and authentic to me.

I am already being gendered correctly more and more, and whilst any voice coaching is a journey, I am blown away by how much progress I’ve been able to make with these sessions.” S

Thank you for the testimonials above which read: “I am feeling more and more at home with my own voice, and my confidence is increasing” Anonymous

“Hannah-Rose is so lovely, fun, informative, and encouraging” Anonymous

Image descriptions: Testimonials on colourful backgrounds with trans, non-binary & gender fluid flags & trans pride coloured flower graphics. They read as below:

“I have a lot more conscious awareness of how to manipulate different aspects of my voice.” Anonymous participant.

-“Hannah-Rose is accommodating and is always making sure the exercises not just meet the task at hand, but also suit the person, both in technique and in the feeling and sensation behind them. there have been excercises that have felt weird to me tactilely and Hannah-Rose had no problem stopping that excercise and finding alternatives.” Lily.

-“Hannah-Rose has been a legend!! I came in with 2 main goals, to extend my vocal range, as well as have a less breathy, more connected voice in the higher registers. The sessions have already helped improve this drastically in only a few sessions. Hannah-Rose is calm and goes at your own pace, with exercises to suit the individual. There have been a few things i haven’t felt comfortable doing, and they immediately think of alternatives. They are also very good at improvising exercises that suit me so that it feels like a very personal regime. In my short time, i have gained a lot of confidence in my voice, and although I still have a long way to go, the sessions i have had have been very beneficial to me. Soon i will be performing in front of others, which was something i didn’t expect to do for a long time, and a lot of that came from the confidence and encouragement Hannah-Rose has offered.” Lily

Thank you for the testimonial above, which reads, “My voice is just way more…me!

More femme, lighter and brighter, and I love it” Anonymous. On a green, yellow and orange background, with non-binary flag at the bottom and trans flag at the top, and below the words, flowers in trans flag colours, a graphic saying ‘use your voice’, & an image of somebody waving a trans flag.
