🧣I have an infection safety policy in place to keep my service as consistent as possible as a self employed voice professional, to protect myself as a disabled person, and for the safety of any vulnerable voice students and their close ones. See below!
❤️ Don’t attend if you have symptoms of infectious illness. Such as those associated with Common Cold, Flu, Covid-19, or any other infectious illnesses.
🦄 Caveat: if you have an ongoing condition that gives you symptoms like this all the time, please watch for anything unusual that might signify infectious illness, and avoid attending in person if you think you’re likely to be infectious.
🦠 Don’t attend if you think there’s a strong likelihood you have Covid. E.g. you’ve been in recent close/prolonged contact with someone who’s tested positive for covid; or somebody in your household is testing positive for covid; or you are testing positive for covid despite feeling fine; or you have covid symptoms but are testing negative; or of course if you have symptoms and are testing positive.
🌬️ I’ll do my best to ventilate the teaching space on arrival, and a little whilst working, whilst also factoring in your audio privacy and keeping us warm.
💜 I will keep to these precautions also. However please understand that in some circumstances, I might choose to go ahead with a session with minor cause for infection concern in order to avoid cancellation. If you are vulnerable or close with somebody vulnerable and would appreciate the most strict consideration in this regard, please let me know so I can make informed and thoughtful choices about this as much as possible to make sure people stay as well as possible, and sessions go ahead as often as possible. Thank you!
🌲 Hopefully this policy balances out the various needs at play! Please keep to this policy to the best of your ability, many thanks.
❤️ Whether or not you do the ‘form filling’ bit below, please keep to this policy, for all the reasons given at the top of this form. Thank you!
🏳️⚧️ If at any point you feel this needs to be reviewed, or want to discuss your access needs, just get in touch.
